a queer, yiddish, pay-what-you-can café in glasgow’s southside
everyone welcome 🖤
(except cops and terfs)
help us open a physical café space
we’ve been feeding the community through the COVID-19 crisis with pay-what-you-can meal deliveries, but we want to increase our cooking capacity by opening a physical café space.
our space will be:
💜 late-nite
💜 alcohol-free
💜 focused on solidarity, accessibility, and queer liberation
💜 100% vegan, kosher, and halal
💜 bilingual, in yiddish and english
thank you so much, we couldn’t do this without you 🖤
a bit about the café
everything in the café will be pay-what-you-can and vegan, and we will have a fridge full of free food.
we are committed to creating a community space that is as accessible as possible.
as well as serving delicious vegan food, the café will be an arts and social space, hosting community groups, and queer and jewish artists.
it will be an alcohol-free space.
we are not for profit and are registered as a CIC (community interest company).
everyone is welcome (including cishet and goyishe allies) and we are family friendly.
די ראָזעווע פאַווע (“di rozeve pave”) means “pink peacock” in yiddish. it’s pronounced like “de ROSE-ev-uh PA-vuh”.
